Blue Stud Poultry Farm

While surfing the Poultry Web last night, I revisited a site from Australia that I had visited many times prior. We have all heard about the big floods they had, but the effects on farmers have been much worse than previously thought. Blue Stud Poultry Farm  (http://www.rarechooks.com.au/) had one of the largest collections of Rare Breed Poultry anywhere. The owner of the farm, Mr. Tully, has committed himself to searching out and preserving rare breeds. Sadly, the Queensland Floods wiped out more than 50% of the original stock.  The following video shows some of the effort that has gone into the rescuing and re-building of this valuable resource.
